Constance Picaud was born in Challans and began her career in her native region of Vendée. From the US Marais-Beauvoir-sur-Mer team to ESOF Vendée La Roche-sur-Yon, which she joined at the age of 15, the young goalkeeper honed her skills over a six-year period before moving to Normandy to sign her first professional contract with Le Havre Athletic Club.

A regular in the HAC goal, she also discovered the French top flight there, as she was one of the main architects of the club's promotion to the D1 Arkema at the end of the 2019-2020 season.
