France qualify for the Women's Nations League final!

The France Women’s team including Paris Saint-Germain’s Constance Picaud, Elisa De Almeida, Sakina Karchaoui, Thiniba Samoura, Grace Geyoro, Sandy Baltimore and Marie Antoinette Katoto beat Germany 2-1 on 23 February at the OL Stadium in Décines-Charpieu, in the semi-final of the UEFA Women's Nations League.

A win that was secured thanks to a penalty after a foul on  Katoto and converted by Karchaoui, which allowed Les Bleues to confirm their spot in the final of the competition as they attempt to win the first major title in their history.

For the encounter, Hervé Renard’s side will take on Spain on Wednesday 28 February at 19:00 in Seville, who are current World Champions and have now qualified for the Women’s Football at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games after beating Jackie Groenen and Lieke Martens’ Netherlands.
