How our internationals fared
Sixteen Parisian women played around the world with their respective national teams. Here's a look back at their performances.
CONSTANCE PICAUD / ELISA DE ALMEIDA / SAKINA KARCHAOUI / Thiniba Samoura / GRACE GEYORO / SANDY BALTIMORE / Marie-Antoinette Katoto - FRANCE
Les Bleues kicked off their qualifying campaign for UEFA Women's Euro 2025 in Switzerland with a home game against Ireland and a trip to Sweden. Both wins were by the narrowest of margins, with Katoto scoring against Ireland and setting up Wendy Renard's goal against Sweden. An ideal start to the campaign!
AMALIE VANGSGAARD - DENMARK
The Paris striker shone during the international break. The Danes were also kicking off their qualifying campaign for next year's UEFA EURO and did so with two wins, beating the Czech Republic and Belgium. Two wins and three goals for Amalie Vangsgaard!
OLIWIA SZPERKOWSKA / KATARZYNA KIEDRZYNEK - POLAND
Also with a view to qualifying for the Euros, the Poland side of our two Parisian goalkeepers lost in Iceland 3-0, then at home to Austria 3-1. Katarzyna Kiedrzynek played in the match against Austria.
CLARE HUNT - AUSTRALIA
Only one match on the programme for Clare Hunt's Australia: a friendly against Mexico, which the Matildas won 2-0, but without the Parisian, who did not play.
KORBIN ALBERT / EVA GAETINO - UNITED STATES
After winning the W Gold Cup, the Americans won friendly tournament the She Believes Cup. After beating Japan 2-1 in the semi-finals, Team USA beat Canada on penalties in the final in Columbus (2-2, 5-4 on pens.).
JADE LE GUILLY / Manssita TRAORE / LAURINA FAZER - FRANCE U23
Two friendly matches and two victories for Les Bleuettes, who beat Italy 4-2 in Florence before beating Portugal 1-0 in Clairefontaine.
