Henrik Toft Hansen began his professional career in his native Mors in the north of Denmark. After ten seasons, he moved to Germany to play for Hamburg and Flensburg with his brother, René.
The line player won all the major international titles: Euro 2012 then 2016 Olympic Games and 2019 World Cup alongside his compatriot and new teammate Jannick Green.
He is the second of five pivot brothers, three boys and two girls. His wife, Ulrika, played at Issy Paris before retiring.
