Henrik Toft Hansen: 'The whole arena wanted to beat us'

Check out the reactions from Raul Gonzalez, Henrik Toft Hansen and Andreas Palicka after Paris Saint-Germain Handball's Liqui Moly StarLigue Round 17 win in Sélestat (31-34).

RAUL GONZALEZ (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL COACH):

"The arena was full and there was a lot of atmosphere. We were coming off an EHF Champions League match, but the team was very serious and everyone brought something. We had to change our defence, because we were in trouble in the first ten minutes. Fortunately, Andreas Palicka was great. That made it easier for us and then we played well and won. Since the start of the season, things have been going well. Now we're looking forward to getting our injured players back."

HENRIK TOFT HANSEN (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL PIVOT):

"Sélestat played a great game in front of their supporters. As we were on the road, the whole arena wanted to beat us. But I am satisfied with this victory. It wasn't easy and we had to work hard for 60 minutes. We won and that's perfect, because we have a lot of matches to play in quick succession. We have had a good start to the year, but we have to keep it up. The next game, in Plock, will also be complicated. This game will be important for us in the Champions League. We have to start working immediately."

ANDREAS PALICKA (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL GOALKEEPER):

"Sélestat played well today. It was difficult for us, especially because we have a lot of people missing. But we fought for 60 minutes and we won. That's the most important thing. We're off to a great start in 2023, despite a difficult situation with the injuries. I'm happy to be able to string together wins."
