The world's tallest handball player (2.14m), Dainis Krištopāns first discovered handball playing with his childhood friends.
After Latgols (LET), Presov (SVK) and Brest (BLR), he played for Skopje and a first experience under coach Raul Gonzalez. In 2019, the Latvia international won the Champions League with the Macedonian club, after having been named MVP of the Final Four and best right-back in the competition.
