Sander the man for February
After a string of superb performance in the past month, Paris Saint-Germain Handball's Sander Sagosen has been awarded the Lidl StarLigue's Player of the Month award for February.
A well-deserved title for our Norwegian play-maker, who shone in every one of his appearances in February, scoring 28 times in four league appearances.
But more than that, Sander tested the Créteil rear-guard, who could do little (or nothing) to stop him. In Les Rouge et Bleus' victory over their derby rivals (39-26), Sander scored with a razor-sharp 11 of his 12 attempts on goal. In fact, if the post of Mickaël Robin's goal hadn't sent his free-throw back the way it came, Sander's record for the day would have been perfect. him from making a perfect save.
A week later, he again scored 11 goals - this time from 13 attempts - in the Lidl StarLigue clash in Nantes (29-29). Finally, he upped his efficiency away to Aix with four out of four (28-38).

To secure this honour, Sander (60.2% of the votes) fended off competition from Nîmes' O'Brian Nyateu (25.5) and Ivry's Benjamin Bataille (14.3%). He is the second Parisian to receive this award this season after Mikkel Hansen earned it in November.
