Sander Sagosen in the Best 7 for Euro 2020

Despite a semi-final elimination against Croatia, Sander Sagosen earned his place in the all-star team and left Stockholm with a record in his pocket.

Along with Magnus Joendal (left-winger), Sander Sagosen one of two Norwegians to feature in the tournament's Best 7. The Parisian was voted best left-back at Euro 2020 by a panel of experts, his fourth time after 2016, 2017 and 2019. A well-deserved title for Sander, who was involved in 118 goals scored by Norway, or 43% of the Scandinavian nation's goals.

He was also the competition's top scorer and, what's more, broke Kyril Lazarov's record of 61 goals - set in Euro 2012 - by four for a total haul of 65. At last Sander has won a medal in the competition.

No doubt it has all been a wonderful experience for the Parisian, who will return to training this week before flying to Ajaccio on Friday for the capital club's clash in Coupe de France round of 16.
