Nedim Remili: 'This championship is frustrating!'
Before the postponement of the Lidl Starligue Round 6 clash between Paris Saint-Germain Handball and Tremblay, Nedim Remili spoke at length about our championship.
psg.fr: You have a perfect record in the league. Are you satisfied with your start to the season?
Nedim Remili: We are never really satisfied, because we can always do better! I'm happy, because we went for it and scored some great victories. Our goal difference is huge (+51). We have to respect our opponents. If we can win with more than a 15-goal difference, we have to go ahead and do it! It doesn't matter who is on the court. However, I think we can play even better! We shouldn't wait for high-stakes matches to be at our best. There are a lot of good things, but we can do better.
Especially since we have seen in this championship that all the teams are difficult to play?
Anyone can outplay anyone. We saw it in every one of the first five rounds... It will be the case all season long!

That's how it was against Ivry...
We knew what to expect against Ivry, especially two days after our match against Elverum. We dipped in some moments and lost our lucidity, which allowed them to come back in the second half. It was our mistakes that got theme back into the game. But afterwards, we were able to hit back and that made the difference. I'm proud of the team for that.
Is the Lidl Starligue is always so difficult?
This championship is frustrating [laughs]. As a Frenchman, I'm proud to see it improving every year! A lot of great foreign players want to be here because they know there is a lot of intensity and combativeness. But for us, it's more complicated [laughs]. It's difficult to play away from home, facing teams that give their all. I hope it will continue for many years to come!
