After a brief spell at Valencia in 2019-20, the Swiss player moved on to rival club Levante, where she played between 2020 and 2023.

EN: Viola Calligaris has already racked up 40 caps for the Swiss national team, scoring five goals in the process, and playing in the 2017 and 2022 European Championships. During qualifying for the 2002 World Cup, she scored the first goal against Moldova, a match in which the Swiss had to win by at least eleven goals in order to qualify. The result was 15-0, and Viola went on to play in the 2023 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, but her journey ended in the Round of 16. Prior to the competition, Viola Calligaris had signed a two-year contract with Paris Saint-Germain and she duly joined her new team-mates in the wake of the World Cup in August 2023.
