The first ever foreign-born player to represent Denmark in any sport, she has been regularly called up since 2009, and now counts more than 90 caps.
In addition to her sporting career, Nadia Nadim speaks seven languages and combines charity work with her football career and her studies in medicine. She was appointed UNESCO ambassador in July 2019.
