Born on 2 May, 1993 in São Bernardo do Campo in Brazil, Luana Bertolucci Paixão signed her first professional contract with the Centro Olimpico, club of São Paulo, in 2013. Two years later, Luana moved to Europe, signing for Avaldsnes. In four seasons, she played 88 matches with the Scandinavian club, scored 19 goals and won the Norwegian Cup in 2017.
Called up to the national team since the U17s, the defensive midfielder boasts six caps with the Seleção, including two at the World Cup in France in 2019. She signed for Paris Saint-Germain in January 2020.
