The women's team on fire against Reims

Olivier Echouafni's side were ruthless as they took apart Reims in Friday's league game.

Back after the international break, the Rouge-et-Bleu were determined to pick up three points at the Stade Jean Bouin. Olivier Echouafni put out an attacking 4-2-3-1 with Baltimore – Katoto – Diani – Nadim teaming up up front in the absence of Grace Geyoro.

From the off, the Parisians set the tone, especially on the left where Sandy Baltimore was flying. The lead came quickly: Kadidiatou Diani tucking away the first chance that came her way (1-0, 6').

The Parisians were far from finished there: picked out by Irène Paredes, Marie-Antoinette Katoto found Nadia Nadim, and she beat Phallon Tullis-Joyce from close range (2-0, 23').

There was quick thinking that led to the third: Ashley Lawrence's free-kick found the Reims defence napping and landed on the head of Diani, who gave the hosts a comfortable half-time lead (3-0, 44').

Fatigue played a part in the second half, but Baltimore still had enough energy to produce a fabulous cross for Signe Bruun to make it four (4-0, 89') and help her side go top of the table.
