Echouafni: 'Continue our home form'

Paris Saint-Germain coach Olivier Echouafni spoke at the pre-match press conference and looked ahead to Friday's match against Reims - kick-off 18:30 at the Stade Jean Bouin.

Coach, how have you prepared for Friday's game against Reims?
"It's gone pretty well. We're not used to having so many players available during an international break. We played a friendly match against the France U20 side (3-1 for Paris), which was a good opportunity to give everyone some playing time. The whole squad was only back together a day before the game. I'm happy to have them back and the fact that a few of them scored for their national teams. It bodes well for Friday's game."

How is the squad approaching the game?
"We hope to continue our winning form at home because we drew our last match away (0-0 vs Bordeaux), even if we played quite well. But we dropped important points, especially since we deserved to win."

Can we expect changes in the squad given that the internationals returned so late?
"A squad like ours should allow us to call on players that haven't played so much recently. They get the chance to play and they deserve it. It's also the chance to bring in some fresh legs because some players have played three games in ten days and they will struggle physically. I hope the team will be physically fresh on Friday."
