Didier Ollé-Nicolle: 'A big moment'

The Paris Saint-Germain Women's team coach looks ahead to Tuesday's UEFA Women's Champions League game against Real Madrid.

Coach, what's the mood in the squad ahead of the game against Real?

"We're on a good run with nine successives wins in all competitions since the start of the season. We're aware that there are some very big games coming up in November with this game against Real Madrid and then Lyon coming right after. We're going to be playing at the very top level."

How are you approaching this game?

"Over the last four months, we have worked a lot to be as ready as possible at this stage of the season. It's marvellous to have the opportunity to train at the Parc des Princes today and play our match there tomorrow. There will be a big crowd, and we have to take all that positively, as an energy boost, and not something that saps our energy or makes us anxious. We'll have to be very solid, and enjoy ourselves through the way we play, through what we try to do every day. It's a big moment, but it's a big moment to enjoy on Tuesday evening, not before, so that we don't have any regrets. We'll have to produce a great performance."

Two prestigious clubs, the Parc des Princes...it's a great advert for women's football!

"It's a great game for women's football, and for the club, with two great names on the bill: Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid. It's also because it'll be played at the Parc des Princes with a big crowd expected. So everything is there to show what women's football is all about, and what the top level of the sport is. It's important to show the team in a good light, just as it is to play well."

What do you think of Real Madrid?

"Real are a well organised, solid team, they have a good strategy, which - like most Spanish clubs - is based on possession. The team has some very technical players with a very good Danish forward [Caroline Moller Hansen] who likes to run in behind the defence. We'll have to play very well. They had a difficult start to the season, but they've bounced back well. They've won their last three games. So it'll take a very good Paris Saint-Germain in terms of organisation, quality and determination to win the game."
