Luc Steins joins Paris at the end of November 2020 as a medical joker, following the injury of Nikola Karabatic. He made his professional first steps at the age of 17 with Limburg Lions, winning two Dutch Championship and Cup doubles in 2015 and 2016, before moving to Massy.
Named best player of the Proligue in 2016-2017, Steins then signed for Tremblay-en-France, where he played for two seasons before moving to Toulouse in the summer of 2019.
He was named MVP and best center-back in the Lidl Starligue in the 2020-2021 season.
In two seasons in the French capital, he achieved a “back-to-back” by being named MVP and best center-half of the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 French championships.
