Born in Barcelona, Ferran Solé came through the ranks at BM Granollers, a club with which he finished top scorer in the 2015-2016 EHF Cup. He then moved to France and signed for Fenix Toulouse Handball.
Solé played a decisive role in Spain's victory in the 2018 European championship and was voted best right-winger in the competition. He received the same distinction one year later, at the 2019 world championship. In January 2020, he triumphed again with La Roja in the Euro final in Stockholm.
This season, he will share the right wing position with another Spanish, the new Parisian, David Balaguer.
