Wallem Peleka: "At Paris Saint-Germain, we want to win everything"
Check out what Raul Gonzalez, Ferran Solé and Wallem Peleka had to say after the capital club qualified for the semi-finals of the Coupe de France with victory against Nantes (40-39 on penalties).
Raul Gonzalez (Paris Saint-Germain Handball coach):
"It was very difficult, but we won and that's the most important thing, because it was a cup match. What's more, the first match back is always difficult. I think we're going to build up our strength as the weeks go by and it was important for us to continue the adventure in the Coupe de France. It's a good thing we managed to beat Nantes, because they're an excellent team, but we know we can improve.’
Ferran Solé Sala (Paris Saint-Germain Handball right-winger):
"It was a very intense match. We didn't get off to a good start, but we managed to turn the game around afterwards. They came back well and it was difficult to get back on level terms in the final minutes. We knew that even if we equalised, we would still have to go through the penalty shoot-out to qualify. I don't think anyone likes to end up with penalties, it's always very tense. But we were more clinical and we managed to win."
Wallem Peleka (Paris Saint-Germain handball left-back):
"A penalty shootout is always special, but it's always good to win this type of match. We play for Paris Saint-Germain, so we want to win everything. We know we'll play them again in a few weeks' time, but before that, we have a busy month of February ahead of us. The second half of the season will be complicated, and we'll have to give our all in every match to achieve our goals."
