Two Parisians honoured after Fredericia

Elohim Prandi and Kamil Syprzak were both instrumental in the capital club's 38-30 win over Fredericia on Wednesday - and have both been named in the Team of the Week for EHF Champions League Matchday 4.

More than ever, our Parisians are going from strength to strength as the weeks go by. After a23-24 win over Wisla Plock last time out - thanks to an immense Andreas Palicka, who was named in the Team of the Week at the time, it was the Parisian attacking sector's turn to shine. Kamil Syprzak and Elohim Prandi spearheaded the Rouge et Bleu festival against Fredericia (38-30). Already honoured in the last two rounds of the Liqui Moly StarLigue, Kamil has now been named in the Team of the Week for the fifth time in all competitions this season, and the second time in the Champions League. On Wednesday, our Polish international continued his excellent form by converting eight of his 11 attempts.

Elohim Prandi, meanwhile, scored nine goals from 11 attempts against Fredericia, putting in his best performance of the season on the continental stage. Decisive in crucial moments, our left-back was not only named in the Team of the Week, but also voted MVP for Champions League Matchday 4. It's a timely first award for a player who seems to be growing in stature in the Rouge et Bleu squad with each passing week.
