More history for Mikky
On Sunday afternoon, against Aix, Mikkel Hansen passed a new milestone in the {SGG Handball jersey, becoming the most-capped player in the history of the club.
With 334 matches in all competitions combined, Mikky beat the record of matches played with Les Rouge et Bleu, previously held by former goalkeeper, Patrice Annonay. The Danish international, who arrived in the capital during the 2012-2013 season, has not stopped scoring, as he did in 2014-2015 (203 goals) and 2015-2016 (228), when he twice finished as Lidl StarLigue top scorer. On the European stage, he has also made a name for himself. In 2016, for example, he broke the record for a single EHF Champions League campagin, hammering in 141.
