Paris honoured at the LNH Awards

Several Paris Saint-Germain players were honoured at the 2022 edition of the LNH Trophies, which took place on Thursday evening in Paris. Luc Steins was named Liqui Moly StarLigue Player of the Year for a second season in a row.

LUC STEINS - PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Like last season, the Paris Saint-Germain centre-half was named Liqui Moly Starligue Player of the Year. The 27-year-old Dutchman, who was voted best player in the Proligue in 2016-2017, has now this distinction two years in a row, as was the case for his teammates Nikola Karabatic and Mikkel Hansen before him. In the league, Luc Steins has scored 80 goals this season.

LUC STEINS AND KAMIL SYPRZAK IN THE BEST 7

The two Parisians have been named to the Liqui Moly Starligue All-Star Team. Double MVP Luc Steins got the nod for the league's best centre-half and Kamil Syprzak snaffled up the title of best pivot. The man from Plock (Poland) has scored 149 league goals this season, top-scoring for Les Rouge et Bleu on 20 occasions.

MIKKEL HANSEN - GOAL OF THE SEASON

The 34-year-old Danish left-back's strike against Montpellier Handball on 24 October 2021 was voted the most beautiful goal of the season in the Liqui Moly Starligue. A shot that allowed Paris Saint-Germain Handball to win in the last second away to MHB (34-33).
