OUR PARISIANS IN THE MATCH
Valuable in defense, Luka Karabatic helped Les Bleus to keep cool in some tough moments. Quick to get back in defence, the Parisian captain also set an example by racing forward to score on the counter, and Nedim Remili soon followed suit. After coming off the bench, our right-back was able to alternate between assists and goals from set-pieces and counter-attacks. Nedim powered on to get his Wolrd Championship off to a strong start with a 4 from 6. Although Yann Genty didn't take part in the match, Vincent Gérard tested by several penalties and couldn't quite get the better of former teammate Sander Sagosen.
