Luka Karabatic: "We lacked everything"

Check out what Raul Gonzalez and Paris Saint-Germain Handball captain Luka Karabatic had to say after our Rouge et Bleu lost to Szeged in the return leg of the EHF Champions League play-offs (25-35).

Raul Gonzalez (Paris Saint-Germain Handball coach):

"I don't think we showed the right attitude. We were good for the first ten minutes, but then we struggled a lot in attack and defence. It hurts because we played a solid game in Szeged last week."

Luka Karabatic (Paris Saint-Germain Handball pivot):

"I think we lacked everything. There were too many technical mistakes and missed shots. We knew they would come here with a lot of desire and little pressure, because we had won the first leg, and that's what happened. We could have taken a three- or four-goal lead in the first half, but we didn't pull it off. We had a slump in confidence because of all these failures, while their confidence grew. They took risks and everything went their way. There are nights like that. It was an important objective for the club, and we have to bounce back on Sunday. We still have some great fixtures ahead of us, and we want to get back on track immediately."
