After consecutive wins over Norway and Austria, France had to fight right to the final seconds to get the better of a feisty Swiss side (25-24).

In 16 minutes of court time, Nedim Remili managed to score a goal and provide an assist for pivot Luka Karabatic, who had scored two goals the previous night. Wesley Pardin's 20th-minute injury brought Vincent Gerard into the gamed the Parisian goalkeeper made a typically efficient 10 saves at a rate of 42%, including some particularly cubical ones towards the end of the match.
