Five Parisians at the Olympics!
This Monday, France boss Guillaume Gille announced the list of 15 players who will turn out for Les Bleus at the next Olympic Games. Five Parisians will be there!
We find our two goalkeepers, Yann Genty and Vincent Gérard. At the back, Nedim Remili is also in the squad, as well as Nikola Karabatic (for his fifth Olympics!). The latter has made a lot of effort to come back as soon as possible, following his knee injury at the beginning of the season. Finally, his brother Luka will also be present, in the pivot position.
France will play a preparation match against Egypt at the Stade Pierre de Coubertin on Monday. Les Bleus will then rest until 10 July, when they fly to Japan and play number of friendly matches before starting their Olympic campaign against Argentina on 24 July.
