Elohim Prandi: 'We made too many mistakes'

Raul Gonzalez, Vincent Gérard and Elohim Prandi gave us their thoughts on Paris Saint-Germain's loss to Nantes.

RAUL GONZALEZ (COACH - PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL):

"We played very badly in the second part of the first half. During that time, our four-goal lead disappeared and we even had to try to come back from being a goal down at the break (12-13). This afternoon Nantes's Emil Nielsen was in excellent form an he really put us in trouble.

"I said it after Montpellier and I'll say it again tonight: the championship is not over. We have to go to Limoges after the break. Then we will see how to prepare for our quarter-final against Kiel."

VINCENT GERARD (GOALKEEPER - PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL):

"It's a big disappointment tonight because our very good run of form has come to an end. In a game like this, we have to admit that we didn't know how to manage the important moments, with a number of failures in attack. These errors, against a good Nantes team, cost us the victory.

"But this result should not tarnish our very good run in the league. We will have to learn from this game, which will help us in any case to prepare for our future big matches."

ELOHIM PRANDI (LEFT-BACK - PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL):

"Offensively, we made too many mistakes: some close calls, some open goals that went begging... It's a shame because Vincent (Gérard) was extraordinary once again. We had the opportunities to come back and we can only be very frustrated with the result.

"But we mustn't forget the way we have performed in the league so far. This is our only defeat of the season. Tonight Nantes played a better game than us, and we have to be better when we come back from the break."
