Dani Baijens: "In the Champions League, every match is difficult"

Following Les Rouge et Bleu's 31-29 win over Pelister on Matchday 1 of the EHF Champions League, find out what Raul Gonzalez, Dani Baijens and Kamil Syprzak had to say.

RAUL GONZALEZ (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL COACH):

"We managed the match well for 45 minutes. Then we missed a few shots and a few challenges. We were worried about conceding a draw. The most important thing is that we secured the win. We need to take it one game at a time, but we'll have to raise our game in the next few matches."

KAMIL SYPRZAK (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL PIVOT):

"We started to relax in the last quarter of an hour, losing possession and missing shots, which allowed Pelister to get back into the game. You can't make mistakes like that. A win is still a win, that's the most important thing. If we can win with a big lead, that's better, but the most important thing is still to win."

DANI BAIJENS (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL CENTRE-HALF):

"In the Champions League, every match is difficult. You have to stay concentrated throughout the match, and I think that once again we lacked concentration for around ten minutes. We missed shots and were less solid defensively. The atmosphere was exceptional - everyone sang for 60 minutes whether we scored or not, it's an incredible feeling."
