Kamil Syprzak honoured for Pelister performance
Kamil Syprzak, a key figure in Paris' win over Pelister, has been named in the EHF Champions League Best 7 for Matchday 1.
Les Rouge et Bleu relied on the efficiency of Kamil Syprzak to beat a valiant Macedonian side on the opening day of the EHF Champions League group stage. The top scorer in the last edition of the competition with 112 goals, our danger man continued in the same vein, converting 11 of his 13 attempts. It was a dazzling performance from Kamil, who came within a goal of equalling his personal best in a Champions League match with Paris, set against Elverum (30-30) in 2022. The Polish international reclaimed his throne as top scorer in the EHF Champions League on the very first day, tying with Thomas Arnoldsen (Aalborg) and former Parisian Nedim Remili (Veszprém). He is thus logically rewarded with a nomination in the Best 7 for the matchday.
