Benoît blasts his way into Best 7
Thanks to a superb performance against Meshkov Brest (33-26) on Wednesday, Benoît Kounkoud was named as the best right-winger for EHF Champions League Matchday 12.
The French international was so clinical it verged in perfection. Indeed, Ben converted all but one shot on the Belarusian goal, firing his way to co-top scorer status in the match (alongside Mikita Vailupau) with no fewer than nine goals. A very nice performance for our young player, who fully deserved his place among the seven best players of the week.

The 24-year-old, who celebrated his birthday, has had a great European season, scoring 20 goals in the Champions League - just 14 of his personal-best total of 34 in a European campaign, a feat he achieved in season 2017-2018.
