A successful return

Five months after their last official match, Paris Saint-Germain Handball were back on the court for a 60-minute match on Friday afternoon. Les Rouge et Bleu played host to Ivry at the Stade Pierre de Coubertin, for their first pre-season friendly.

There are things that cannot be forgotten and, for the Parisians, handball seems to be one of them. No sooner had the match begun than Raul Gonzalez's men snapped into action and put on a show. The first to come to the fore was none other than Dylan Nahi, who converted a long pass from Vincent Gérard into a goal.

This was the last time the two sides were on the scoreboard. Little by little, our team grew in strength and widened the gap, with Mikkel Hansen notably converting from the seven-metre line (22': 12-8). At the other end of the court, the visitors were not as successful and came up against Vincent.

At the break, our players were comfortably in front (30': 17-10).

As the second half began, the capital club were still in top form. Mikki's success was proof of this, with a string of goals from the penalty spot, but also in from open play.

Benoît Kounkoud, who came on at half time, didn't take long to find his feet again either. The Parisian right-winger succeeded in everything he undertook, winning all his duels (54': 29-23).

And it was Ben once again, form the penalty line, who closed out the scoring in this big, stylish success for Paris Saint-Germain Handball as they returned to action (33-24).
