Born in Bondy on 5 December 1998, Randal Kolo Muani is a true product of the French youth system. He began his junior career at FC Villepinte, his local club, at the age of 5. After a spell at Tremblay FC between 2009 and 2011, then US Torcy until 2015, the budding striker completed his apprenticeship at FC Nantes. With Les Canaris, Randal had to be patient before taking his first steps as a professional. It wasn't until November 2018, in a match against AS Saint-Etienne, that the lad from the Paris region played his first minutes in Ligue 1. Despite this, he would be loaned out to US Boulogne in 2019-2020 but, once back at Nantes, Randal was one of the players who helped lift the 2022 Coupe de France, Nantes' first trophy since 2001!
The Frenchman then moved to Eintracht Frankfurt in 2022-2023, where he shone in the Bundesliga. Twenty-three goals and 17 assists in all competitions made Randal Kolo Muani one of the season's hottest strikers, earning him a place among the 30 nominees for the 2023 Ballon d'Or! His first cap for Les Bleus came at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, where he sparked a revolt in the final and only narrowly missed out on adding a third star to his country's jersey. In the final hours of the 2023 summer transfer window, Randal Kolo Muani signed for Paris Saint-Germain on a five-season deal.
