A Costa Rican international since he was just 17 years old, but it was in Spain that Keylor Navas broke through the ranks with Levante, where he was even named Best Goalkeeper in La Liga in 2013-2014.
It was at the end of that season, during the World Cup in Brazil, that the world of football discovered the goalkeeper’s talent, and Real Madrid decided to pounce that summer. Very quickly, the stopper made his mark both in Spain and in Europe, lifting the UEFA Champions League on three occasions with Los Merengues.
And in the dying moments of the Mercato 2019, he signed for Paris Saint-Germain. Since then he has built a new city wall around the French capital, protecting the Rouge et Bleu colours.
