Tuchel: 'Work very hard'

Find out what Paris Saint-Germain coach Thomas Tuchel had to say ahead of Friday's Week 12 Ligue 1 clash away to Dijon, during the traditional pre-match press conference:

SQUAD

Neymar, Thilo Kehrer and Thomas Meunier are not fit to play. Friday's game is a little too early for Ander Herrera and Marco Verratti. They will be back with the squad on Monday, and I hope they will be available for Wednesday's match. Thiago Silva, who is ill, will not be in the squad either. Edinson Cavani has no more problems, feels good, and is available.

DIJON

Dijon are last in the standings, but not in terms of their statistics. So we have to prepare for this match very seriously. We will have to work very hard. That's the most important thing. After the international break, we have played and won three matches. We must keep going, and not think that this is first versus last. It's not that simple, it's a Ligue 1 game. You'll have to play with intensity.

MARCO VERRATTI

He's a very important player, a key player for us, one of the best midfielders in the world. He can still improve but he is very reliable. He has an important place in the squad, and always cares about how the others are getting on. He's really a team player. Training a player like him is the best thing possible. After the international break, he didn't play against Nice. He trained the next day like an 18- or 19-year-old player who wanted to show the coach that he was there! Training him is a gift. I am very happy that he is with us. He is an extraordinary player, with a very rare character. Everyone is happy that he is with us.
