Paris AWAKES
For the past few weeks, you couldn’t step outside without catching sight of the legendary Hechter jersey. Just like in the Jacques Dutronc song, Paris was waking up, and the Red and Blue fervour was rising higher and higher. This Saturday, around noon, hundreds of supporters were already gathering at the Porte d’Auteuil to experience a very special day.
the Parc des Princes on a (very) big night
Starting from 19:30, spectators were treated to a musical show with a 100% Paris Saint-Germain feel. Gazo, Franglish, Feder and many others, all representatives of the Paris region’s culture, got the stands of the Parc moving with their latest hits. A warm-up act before the explosion of excitement the entire stadium was waiting for: the match broadcast on four giant screens.
From the very first images of the warm-up, the 48,000 passionate fans stood up, raised their scarves and shouted their love for Paris. The Auteuil, Paris, Borelli and Boulogne stands became one, shaking the stadium with every Red and Blue touch of the ball. Final score: 5–0, a first in a Champions League final. Enough to send the Porte d’Auteuil stadium into sheer euphoria. Tears, embraces: unforgettable moments.
The party continues!
The evening continued in a wild atmosphere, from the concourse of the Parc des Princes to the streets of the City of Light… Paris was making people dream in a season that will remain etched in memories and history books.
Thank you to the players, the staff, all the club’s employees and volunteers, but above all, to you, the loyal supporters of Paris Saint-Germain.
