Tuchel: 'Very proud of the team'

Thomas Tuchel, Dani Alves and Marco Verratti spoke to PSG TV after the 3-0 win over Nantes in the Coupe de France semi-finals:

Thomas Tuchel (Paris Saint-Germain coach):
"It wasn't easy to find our rhythm with so many players sidelined with injury. But we started very well, pressing high as a team and winning the ball high up the pitch. The team showed an exceptional mentality. It was a deserved win. A tough win. We worked as a team, like that incredible goal-line clearance by Presnel (Kimpembe) at the end of the match. I am very proud of the team. When you play a semi-final, the only option is victory and a place in the final. I am very happy that Marco Verratti scored. We are missing a number of attacking players, so others have the shoulder the responsability. We are all very happy for him. Dani's goal let us finish the match on a high. It was an exceptional goal. I am very happy for him because he worked very hard to come back from injury. Unfortunately we lost Marquinhos tonight, and that's a real blow."

Dani Alves (Paris Saint-Germain defender):
"I am very happy with the result and to have scored on my return. It was great to be back on the pitch. The most important thing is to qualify for the final and now we have to win it. The team is very strong and has a great mentality. We need to write history together. My goal? It was a great goal. I saw the goalkeeper a little off his line and I tried my luck. It's great for the supporters who want to enjoy watching the team play attractive football. Our ambition is to keep writing new pages of history with this club. Tonight I was wearing boots with Neymar's name on them, I wanted to pay a tribute to him. I miss him on the pitch, we can't wait to have him back with us. So it was a special goal for both of us. We want to enjoy playing for Paris together."

Marco Verratti (Paris Saint-Germain midfielder):
"It was a very tough game, like always in the semi-finals of the Cup because a place in the final is at stake. It was hard to get that first goal. We are happy to have won and to have qualified for the final. Nantes defended very deep, so we had to try our luck from further out. That's what I did. I'm happy because the goal set us on our way. It's never easy to win this type of match. Dani's goal was incredible. He tried something that only he knows how to do. We are very happy for him."
