Check out all you need to know about tonights UCL Matchday 6 clash between Paris Saint-Germain and Galatasaray at the Parc des Princes!

A little history....
It's the fifth official meeting between Paris Saint-Germain and Galatasaray, and a record in favour of Les Rouge et Bleu with three wins and two losses.

Paris Saint-Germain have played against a Turkish club nine times in their history in official matches, against Galatasaray (5 matches), Besiktas (2 matches) and Kayserispor (2 matches). The results are 5 wins, 1 draw and 3 losses. At the Parc des Princes, the Parisians are undefeated, with three wins and a draw.

Two players have worn the jerseys of both clubs: Lorik Cana and Brazilian striker Christian, who caught the eye of Istanbul scouts by scoring a brace for Paris Saint-Germain in the last match between the two teams at Parc des Princes, in the UEFA Champions League group stage (2-0, on 13/03/2001).

The stakes...
Paris Saint-Germain, already qualified for the last-16 of the competition and sure of finishing first in Group A, will want to preserve their unbeaten record in the group stage, with four wins and a draw to date. Only Bayern Munich (5 wins in as many matches) have done better in the UEFA Champions League this season.

Les Rouge et Bleu have now qualified for the last-16 of this competition for the 8th time in a row, a performance equalled by only three clubs in Europe since 2012: Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and FC Barcelona.

Paris Saint-Germain, who have not lost at home in the UEFA Champions League groups for more than 15 years (loss to CSKA Moscow 1-3 on 07/12/2004), a run of 23 matches (18 wins and 5 draws), will also aim to continue their fine offensive series in the UEFA Champions League with at least one goal scored in the last 29 matches since 12 April 2016 and the loss to Manchester City (0-1).

The keys to the match....
While the stakes are not particularly high against Galatasaray, Paris Saint-Germain will also want to continue their superb run of successes with their third jersey: since the launch of this historic shirt on 14 September, the Parisians have won every time, versus Strasbourg (1-0), Real Madrid (3-0), Galatasaray (1-0), Nice (4-1), Club Brugge (5-0 and 1-0) and Montpellier last Saturday (3-1). Will Paris make it eight in white tonight?
