It's time for the final for Marco Verratti!

After Leandro Paredes and Di Maria were crowned champions with Argentina last night in the Copa America, another Parisian could take home an international trophy this evening. Marco Verratti and Italy will face England in the final of Euro 2020 at Wembley this Sunday evening.

Drawing plaudits throughout the competition, Marco Verratti's Squadra Azzurra  will face England at Wembley on Sunday evening at 21:00 (CEST).

A fixture whose result is far from conclusive,  given the twists and turns seen so far in this surprising Euro 2020. Without Marco in the early matches as he recovered from an injury suffered at the end of last season, Italy never faltered and qualified for the Round of 16 in style.

Austria were next in line for Roberto Mancini's side and a 2-1 victory secured a clash against Belgium for Marco in the quarter-finals (one of the favourites for the trophy). The Belgians were outfought by the Italians (2-1), before Spain suffered the same treatment and left the tournament after a penalty shootout in the semi-finals (1-1, 4-2 on penalties).

Against an England side playing at home, as they have done for most of their route to the final, Italy will have it all to do. We hope to see the Parisian influence reign strong once more and see another trophy lifted this evening!
