All you need to know: Strasbourg-Paris!

The key stats and facts ahead of Friday's Ligue 1 encounter at the Stade de la Meinau.

A LITTLE HISTORY...

It's the 70th competitive meeting of Paris Saint-Germain and Strasbourg. The Rouge et Bleu have 38 wins, 18 draws and just 13 losses.

While the capital club is unbeaten in 35 encounters at the Parc des Princes, away from home they have 11 wins, 10 draws and 13 defeats.  

Since Strasbourg's return to Ligue 1 in 2017, the Parisians have won twice at the Stade de la Meinau (4-2 on 13/12/2017 in the Coupe de la Ligue Last 16, and 4-1 on 10/04/2021 in Ligue 1), 1 draw (1-1 on 05/12/2018 in Ligue 1) and 1 defeat (1-2 on 02/12/2017 in Ligue 1).

Paris Saint-Germain are unbeaten in their last nine competitive games against Strasbourg (7 wins), and have scored four times in each of the last three (4-0 at the Parc and 4-1 at La Meinau last season, 4-2 this season).

Paris' biggest win in Alsace came on 22 August 1992 with goals from Laurent Fournier, George Weah, who scored twice to open his account for the club, and François Calderaro.

THE STAKES...

Paris Saint-Germain, officially crowned French champions with last weekend's draw at home to Lens, now face Strasbourg, Troyes, Montpellier and Metz to finish the season.

The Parisians have won their last two away from home: Clermont (6-1) and Angers (3-0).

Whatever happens, Paris Saint-Germain will be top of the table come the end of Matchday 35, it's the 400th time they'll have been in that position since the first time they moved into top spot on 26 July 1985 after a victory at Toulouse (3-1).

KEYS TO THE match...

98 goals for Paris Saint-Germain this season, so the 100-goal milestone is close and could be reached in Alsace.

Kylian Mbappé is closing in on the unprecedented feat of finishing as Ligue 1's leading scorer (22 goals) and assists leader (14), and will be looking to improve those numbers.

Neymar Jr has scored 98 goals for the club. Only five players have reached 100 goals for Paris Saint-Germain previously: Edinson Cavani (200), Kylian Mbappé (165), Zlatan Ibrahimovic (156), Pedro Miguel Pauleta (109) and Dominique Rocheteau (100).

Presnel Kimpembe could make his 150th Ligue 1 appearance.
