Born in Amberg in Germany, Sara was very quickly considered as one of the gems when it came to her country’s footballers. From SpVGG Ebermannsdorf, whom she joined at the age of 13, to Bayern Munich, where she won her first German championship, the midfielder also journeyed through her country’s age-group teams before becoming a fixture for the German women’s side.

After four years in Bavaria, she moved to the French capital in the summer of 2019, rapidly becoming one of the key players for Paris Saint-Germain. Her vision and technical ability make her a valuable player in the middle of the park.

After a long injury lasting several months last season, the German international showed all of her determination to return to the top level.
