Bachmann scores in Switzerland's opening game
Switzerland, with Paris Saint-Germain players Viola Calligaris and Ramona Bachmann, defeated the Philippines 2-0 on Friday 21 July at the Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin on Matchday 1 of the group stage of the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup Australia-New Zealand.
It was the second of the two, a first-team regular, who put her side on the road to victory by opening the scoring from the penalty spot.
