Tonight's the night for our women at the Parc des Princes!

Paris Saint-Germain’s women’s team host their AFC Ajax counterparts at 21:00 CET tonight on Matchday 5 of the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

Les Parisiennes are back in UEFA Women's Champions League action tonight, as they face Dutch side AFC Ajax in a game that will go a long way to deciding which teams will advance to the next stage of the competition. With six points in the bag, Jocelyn Prêcheur's players currently sit second in Group C, while their opponents for the evening are in pole position on seven points.

Les Rouge et Bleu have won each of their last seven games in all competitions, including two victories against AS Roma (2-1 at home and 3-1 away) on Matchdays 3 and 4 of the UWCL, while the Amsterdam outfit have won three of their last four encounters, including a vital 1-0 win over Bayern Munich in their most recent European outing. In the reverse fixture against Paris on Matchday 1 of the group stage – which was the first-ever meeting between the two sides – de Godendochters ran out 2-0 winners at the Johan Cruijff Arena, proving themselves to be highly efficient despite Les Parisiennes dominating the game in terms of both possession and clear-cut chances created.

Paris Saint-Germain captain Grace Geyoro knows how important this match is for her side: "We want to perform well, and we can't wait for this game. At the Parc des Princes, we've got that little bit extra that makes us want to always do our best, and this is also a big game. Right now, we're second in the group, but we want to go for top spot. It's all still to play for, so it'll be up to us to do everything we can to win this game on home turf."

With Les Parisiennes' hearts set on revenge as well as on inching closer to a place in the competition's quarter-finals, get ready for kick-off at 21:00 CET tonight at the Parc des Princes!
