Signe Bruun: 'We focus on our strengths'

The Paris Saint-Germain forward discusses her return to the pitch after a long injury, and the challenges that await the squad in the coming weeks.

Signe, you are back on top after a long absence. How do you see your return?
"I am very happy to have been able to get back out onto the pitch, it's never easy after being away from the team for so long. I have got my touch back, I have scored goals, and above anything else, we have won matches, which is the most important thing."

Against Reims, you came on and you scored. That's become your trade mark!
"More than anything, I am happy to be able to help the team as much as possible. Our objective is to win every match, we prepare ourselves for that, and if I can help the team coming on off of the bench, then I am happy to do so."

You also played for your national side. You are picking up game time, how do you feel physically?
"I was back with the national side for the first time since my injury, I am very happy to have been called up again, as it's a real objective for me. My other objective is to shine with Paris, so I have worked a lot to get back to the level needed as quickly as possible, and everything is going well."

Next step, Dijon. A new team in this league...
"Yes, it's a team that we don't necessarily know that well. But we are focused on ourselves, like in every match. We focus on our strengths, on what we know best, although of course we study the opposition. But we prepare ourselves to be at our best, regardless of who we are playing."

What are the team's objectives this season?
"There's no secret around that, we want to win the league and as many trophies as possible. It was our objective last season and it is again this year."
