The Women's team come out on top against Dijon

The Paris Saint-Germain Women's team ran out 3-0 winners over Dijon on Sunday 4 October at the Stade des Poussots on Matchday 4 of D1.

After two victories, 4-1 against Guingamp and 4-0 against Reims and a draw with Bordeaux in between (0-0), the objective for Les Parisiennes was clear for their fourth match in D1: beat Dijon, and get back on to level terms with Montpellier (10 points) and put the pressure on Lyon (12 points). At the start of the match, the possession of the ball was clearly in Olivier Echouafni's side's favour, but they had to wait for the 30-minute mark before they got their first chance of the match, when Luana saw Chavas catch her effort (30'). A few minutes later, Lawrence attacked down the wing and crossed for Katoto, whose header flew wide (37').

Les Rouge et Bleu were more incisive after the break and Nadim hit the home side's bar (49'). Five minutes later, Diani crossed for the Dane and she found Luana, who managed to break the deadlock (0-1, 54'). The club from the capital were finally on their way and Baltimore doubled the lead in the minutes that followed as she slipped the ball into the back of Chavas' net, after the keeper had parried Katoto's effort (0-2, 59'). The young Parisienne even secured a brace, with an excellent effort, following a ball in from Diani (0-3, 90'). The next challenge for Paris Saint-Germain, Matchday 5 of D1 against MHSC on Sunday 11 October at 17:00 at the Stade Georges Lefèvre de Saint-Germain-en-Laye.
