Ramona Bachmann extends contract with Paris Saint-Germain

Paris Saint-Germain is pleased to announce the extension of Ramona Bachmann's contract. The Swiss international is now tied to the Club until 30 June 2023.

Ramona Bachmann started playing football in Lucerne, Switzerland. In 2005, the striker signed her first professional contract with FC Luzern Frauen, before moving to Umea IK in Sweden two years later. In 2010, the 31-year-old moved to the United States for a few months, where she played for Atlanta Beat and then finished the season at Umea IK.

In the summer of 2011, Ramona signed for FC Rosengard, with whom she won two Swedish championships. In 2015, she moved to Wolfsburg for one season. Following this experience in Germany, the Swiss player joined Chelsea in December 2016, winning two English championships (2017, 2019) and an English Cup (2018).

The Parisian number 10 arrived at Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2020 and has now made 37 appearances and scored six goals for the Red and Blue, winning the French league title in 2021.

Ramona has been a senior international since 2007, and to date has won 115 caps and scored 50 goals for Switzerland. In 2015, she played in the first World Cup for the "Nati", in Canada, where her team reached the quarter-finals of the competition.
