Paredes: 'Give everything to win'

Just days before Paris Saint-Germain lock horns with Lyon win Week 10 of the Women's Division 1, capital club captain Irène Paredes spoke to PSG TV about the clash:

Irène, how do you feel after two years in Paris?
"I feel more and more at home here in Paris. I've been here for two years now and I'm very happy - Paris is a magnificent city. I now feel more at home here than in Spain."

What dies it mean to you to be captain of Paris Saint-Germain?
"We share the captain's armband. But it means a lot to me. It means that I'm working well and that the coach has confidence in me and all that is very important for me. I do everything for the team and I think everyone here works hard to make that happen."

On Sunday, Paris host Lyon in the big D1 match...
"It's a superb match to play in. We play football to be a part of matches like this one. There's a great atmosphere within the squad and we really spend a lot of time together. We want to play a big game, answer the physical challenge and come away with a win."

The supporters will play an important role on Sunday...
"When the ultras are there, it's fantastic. We really feel the energy of all our fans. Our supporters give us extra motivation and desire. We hope the atmopshere will be great on Sunday."

You beat Lyon in the Coupe de France final last season...
"It was really magnificent. It was a fantastic moment for everyone. That night, we didn't only beat Lyon, but we also won the Coupe de France. There was a trophy up for grabs and winning it gave us a lot of confidence. Now we know that we can beat anyone on our day."

What are the keys to victorty on Sunday?
"We know this team very well. We have already played them several times. They are a great team, world class, but we also have our strengths and very good footballers. We work very hard for these types of games, we are not scared, and we will give everything to get the three points."
