Olivier Echouafni: 'There's one more step'

The Paris Saint-Germain women's team coach and Perle Morroni, Irene Paredes and Sandy Baltimore spoke about the 0-0 draw with Lyon, this Sunday 30 May at the Groupama Stadium in the postponed matchday 16 D1 game.

Olivier Echouafni (Paris Saint-Germain women's team manager)

'Today's goal was accomplished. To go to Lyon and get a draw is never easy. We're still unbeaten here this season which is an incredible achievement. It was a mental game and the girls did what they needed to do. We know that there's still another step, a game that we absolutely need to win. It was an intense game that was a psychological battle. We were great in that department. I think that we even should have won because we created a lot of chances. Lyon didn't have as many which was good. We're now focused on Friday's game against Dijon. We'll need to prepare to finish the task."

Perle Morroni (Paris Saint-Germain women's team defender)

"Our goal was to win as always, but we knew that a draw would be good for us too. That's what happened and we're happy because it's in our hands. It was an intense game. We felt that it was crucial and that each players wanted to win every duel. It was a great game. We're happy but we need to stay calm. There is still a game to win. We know we're close but we're staying focused."

Irene Paredes (Paris Saint-Germain women's team defender)

"We got a really important draw. We're happy because it wasn't easy. We've still got a game left. We're getting there slowly. We're focused every game. We wanted to win today but even though we had chances we suffered a bit at the end. We need to carry on. It's an important result but it's not the title yet. Next week won't be easy. We're facing a good team and we'll need no finish the job" on Canal+

Sandy Baltimore (Paris Saint-Germain women's team midfielder)

"We wanted to win but that wasn't the case because Lyon are a great team. We've been patient, we kept the ball and got the draw. We were expecting an intense game as it always is against the Lyonnaises. We needed to answer and we were present. We're very happy but it's not over. There's still another game to go and get the title."
