Olivier Echouafni: 'A special flavour'

The Paris Saint-Germain coach spoke of his team's ambitions ahead of Sunday's Coupe de France semi-final against Bordeaux.

"They're a top-five team based on their squad, their individuals and the style of play of their coach. Bordeaux are among the best French teams. The task won't be easy, but there's a final at stake and we'll do all we can to reach it. They have multiple strengths, they play a short technical game, go forward, and have a lot of internationals, top-level players."

"We're happy to be able to finish this competition, which has a special flavour. Paris won it in 2018, and we want to win a trophy this season. It's a real objective for the squad."

"She's doing well. She's looking forward to playing games, but we have to be careful not to get ahead of ourselves. She's motivated, that's good, and we could get her playing in the coming weeks."

"She's going to give the squad her experience, her individual quality, her technique, her speed, her sense of positioning and nose for goal. She's a Switzerland international and captain...She can play as a 10, but we have several different set-ups possible and we want to use the qualities of the whole squad."
