Morroni extends Women's contract

Paris Saint-Germain is delighted to announce that Perle Morroni has signed a two-year extension to her Paris Saint-Germain Women's contract. The youth international full-back is now tied to the capital club until 30 June 2021.

Perle joined the club's youth academy as a 15-year-old in 2012, and made her Rouge et Bleu first-team debut in the 2014-2015 season. Loaned to FC Barcelona during the 2017-2018 (4 matches), the full-back is now a key player for Olivier Echouafni. The Montpellier native has played 51 matches for Les Rouge et Bleu - 37 in D1, 5 in the Coupe de France and 9 in the Champions League – scoring 4 goals.

A U19 European champion in 2016 with France, Perle Morroni, 21, has played ten times for France A, and patiently awaits her first call-up to Les Bleues.

"This is a great opportunity for me to extend my contract with Paris Saint-Germain," rejoiced Perle Morroni after signing her new contract. "Paris Saint-Germain are my club and I'm have been very happy and fulfilled here, ever since joining in 2012. I am continuing my progression, year after year, and I know we have some great times ahead, here in France and on the international scene."

"Perle Morroni represents the future of Paris Saint-Germain," declared Bruno Cheyrou, General Manager of the Paris Saint-Germain Women's Section. "She is a young academy graduate and a quality footballer. She has become a key member of the first team at just 21 years of age. We are very happy to count on Perle for the coming years."
