Lydia Williams joins Brighton & Hove Albion WFC
Australian goalkeeper Lydia Williams has joined English Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion WFC on a permanent transfer.
Lydia Williams joined Paris Saint-Germain in July after playing for eight clubs in four countries around the world. During the first half of the season, the 34-year-old made two starts for the Rouge & Bleu: in the Trophée des Championnes against Lyon in August (1-0 defeat) and in the second D1 matchday at Rodez (4-0 victory).
In signing for Brighton, the player joins a league in which she has already played for two years, at Arsenal FC, with whom she made 18 appearances.
Paris Saint-Germain thanks Lydia and wishes her all the best for the end of the season under her new colours.
