Fabrice Abriel: "We feel a drive to do things as a team"

"The primary objective was to experience a match in terms of how we run things - the chat, the meal, the warm-up... It was an opportunity to adjust and get our bearings, both behind the scenes and out on the pitch. We've been working on two themes this week and I wanted to get back to them in today's match. We divided the match into four 20-minute sequences to maintain the pace and quality of the play, with plenty of time for a break at each point."

"We know why we recruited Romée Leuchter. She's capable of pulling off some really awesome things in our play and her team-mates are also adapting to her. It's a very good start and it gives us confidence. I'm getting a sense of a disciplined, rigorous team with the will to get things done together. I can see a total commitment from the squad at the moment, from both the young players and the experienced ones. We feel a drive to do things as a team and to do them well. It's important to win, but it's also important to know how you go about winning. So for the moment, that's what we're focusing on."
